I was feeling under the weather this week (and it was a filing deadline at work on Wednesday to boot) so I didn’t get to the comic book shop until Saturday. It worked out because there weren’t any new comics that I wanted to get and the shop is much more mellow (at least the comic side) than it is on Wednesdays. Going in after Wednesday gives me an opportunity to chat up Mike and Aaron. My mini-haul after the break:

Aquaman Sword of Atlantis: Once and Future TPB :: I remember really liking this One Year Later Aquaman relaunch. While I don’t mind that the Aquaman mantle has reverted back to the original character I think it stinks that the writers had Arthur abandon his duties and disappear.
Hellboy, Vol. 2: Wake the Devil :: Employee Aaron won’t let you leave the shop if you don’t buy a Hellboy comic.
Boffo in Hell :: Yup, this Boffo in hell. Mike, Aaron and I were discussing Nancy in Hell and how it has nothing (thankfully) to do with the good Nancy when Mike brought up this oddity. I obviously had to buy it.
