Batman #700 (download preview) (annotations…you’ll need ’em) :: I don’t usually purchase this Batman title (Batman and Robin is my usual purchase) but it’s number 700 AND written by Grant Morrison AND has some great artists drawing it. The story was good (not great) but did reintroduce Terry McGinnis (Batman Beyond) to the DCU proper. I’m not sure if I like the future portrayed in this comic (where Damian is a violent Batman).
Jack of Fables #1 (Special $1 Edition) AND The Flash: Rebirth #1 (of 6) (Special $1 Edition) :: These one dollar editions are my ‘gateway drug’ for friends and family. I just left a few with my brother last weekend.
Wednesday Comics Hardcover :: I liked enough of the stories in WC to justify buying the HC. It’s really a beauty, much bigger than I imagined.
