This one came to me while watching a short retrospective about ‘Monty’ on TCM. Elizabeth Taylor was describing how good of an actor he was and it got me thinking about the Scarlet Speedster. Besides running really fast the Flash doesn’t have a lot going for him, adding a great actor like Montgomery would make the movie worth watching. I think Monty could play either Barry or Wally but a new Flash movie would probably star Barry. In the current series Barry is still struggling with returning to life after years of being dead. Montgomery, who was known for playing “moody, sensitive young men“, could pull this off easily. How about an actress to play Iris Allen? Well, there’s an obvious pick for that:
