It’s election day on Earth and the Fatal Five (and their new ultra-secretive leader) crash the party. Who is the Dark Man and what gripe does he have against the Legion?
I find this take on politics weird. Let’s ignore the whole ‘a computer picks our candidates for us’ thing (and I hope that computer isn’t C.O.M.P.U.T.O.) and focus on the Legionnaire’s attitude. Other plot lines have shown that the president of Earth is a pretty important position but the Legionnaires blow it off as inconsequential.
The funny thing is that the Legion takes their own election for a leader a lot more seriously than they do the presidential election. I’m going to chalk it up to them being young and immature.
